This was the first in a series of stop-motion animations I created for Chris Ault's Methods of Motion course. Without having the advantages of the onion skinning feature included in I-StopMotion software, I learned the utmost importance of stillness of camera and objects.
Unlike traditional animation I love the idea of an inanimate, real object coming to life to carry out the fantastical, or mundane activities of life. Like the possibility of a room of toys come to life after the stroke of a magical hour behind closed doors when everyone is sleeping...
